AIM Evaluation

With greater amounts of athletes in participation, the level of competition has never been higher. Athletes are constantly looking for ways to develop their skills and improve performance, while coaches, agents and parents have a growing concern over injury. An AIMSM (Athletic Individual Movement) evaluation is the comprehensive solution to explore the causes of performance plateau and identify risky movement patterns. The results of this complete evaluation direct the use of corrective strategies to prevent or treat injury and enhance performance.

What to expect:

An AIMSM evaluation is a series of comprehensive movement tests that will aid in assessing movement patterns. Each test examines and grades movement as either functional or dysfunctional and thereby directs further testing and clinical assessment.

The following can be identified:

  • Muscular weakness
  • Movement inefficiency
  • Motor Control dysfunction
  • Soft tissue restriction
  • Joint mobility dysfunction
  • Habitual and compensatory movement patterns

Once these impairments and limitations are identified, they can be addressed and corrected through Movement Development.
